Obsidian Warlords

Obsidian Warlords is the pseudo-sequel/remake of Owartta and the beginning of a third timeline in the Partial Macrocosm. The game brings back every character and stage from Owartta, and adding many many more. The game is set to be completed sometime in 2015.

While Owartta focused on many obscure characters, Obsidian Warlords is more of a free-for-all akin to the Fighters of Lapis series of titles.

Default Stages

Stage Description
FantendoMinecraft-Tower1
The Exoskeleton
Fantendo Minecraft
A large tower created by Exotoro, TimeSoul and more on the Fantendo Minecraft server. The match starts on the top floor, with each floor crumbling away beneath the fighters as the fight progresses. Various Minecraft avatars of Fantendo users can be seen trying to flee as the stage crumbles, or appear in the background while the fight continues. Once the fight reaches the bottom, the tower rebuilds itself in Lapis Lazuli blocks, with the fighters being brought upward by the blocks.
Batman Minecraft
Batman
Minecraft
The stage takes place on a wool platform that circles this large (for the most part) wooly replica of the Dark Knight. The stage is probably the simplest in the game, with the only gimmick being that the platform can be destroyed (though one must deal 250% to a single block to destroy it), but it will regenerate over time.
Remove horror
remove horror
Twitch
A glitched room where everything says "removed horror", including Mario's face, hat and overalls. The stage is relatively simple, with the only hazard being that the back walls sometimes push into the battle arena to knock fighters around.
Poop
Poop Mountain
Conker
A large, spiralling mountain covered with poop. The Great Mighty Poo appears in the background of the stage, and will occasionally throw er......... "mud" at the fighters. In timed matches, when there is a minute remaining, the sewers will flood the stage, separating the platform into three smaller ones separated by harmful water.
The Skerries
The Skerries
Google Maps
A strange place located in-between dimensions or something. According to Lapis lore, the Skerries have a physical form in both the Omegaverse and Anti-Space, but it's distorted, psychedelic appearance is solely located in the Omegaverse. Logic does not apply here, as the platform will change and merge into other stuff, the gravity will change to match the platform's orientation, and the fighters may also change density.
LSIA
Los Santos International Airport
Grand Theft Auto
A large airport located in Los Santos. The fight takes place on the wings of three small jets that will often do spins to force the fighters onto other jets as they circle around LSIA. After a while, a Titan plane will take the place of the three jets, before it lands and the battle continues on the runway.
Old Man
Old Man Andross' Yard
Brawl in the Family
Old Man Andross' Yard is a simple stage. Relatively flat with no obstacles obstructing the fight.... initially. Later in the fight, Old Man Andross, who sits asleep in his rocking chair, will wake up and spew large silver tiles as he tells the fighters to "GET OFF [HIS] LAWN".
Los Angeles
Los Angeles
Sharknado
Los Angeles is ravaged by a tropical storm: flooding most of the ocean-side properties, creating massive tornadoes and throwing sharks into the city. The stage takes place during Sharknado's climax, with the airstrip being where the battle takes place. Sharks will often be tossed through the stage, which do massive damage upon impact. The tornadoes can also trap fighters, and while they do no damage, they make them easy targets.
Sanitation Station
Sanitation Station Regina
Space Milkshake
Sanitation Station Regina is the location where the last members of the homo sapien species reside. The battle takes place outside of the station, on an asteroid that circles around it. Gary, the Rubber Duck, will collide into the stage at a random point in the fight, and begin to mutate, often attacking the fighters as he does so. Gary acts like a CPU fighter, and he too can be KO'd.
PvZGW Main Street Day
Main Street
Plants vs. Zombies
A large greenhouse where a cactus rocket missile thing was built by the plants to destroy Zomboss Mountain. The fight takes place inside, and is the only stage with a ceiling, meaning fighters must be KO'd off the stage's sides. Often, Plants and Zombies, which fight in the background, will take their fight into your's, though both the Plants and Zombies act like CPU opponents should they.
Rocky Bark
Rocky Bark
Fantendo
A boss in the game Pikmin Wii, a fan game created on Fantendo. The stage takes place on the ground around the giant dog, who will occasionally create earthquakes or swipe at the fighters. Captain Olimar will also appear at random during the match, attempting to defeat the dog, which will not only cause Rocky to attack the fighters more, but Olimar may also throw his Pikmin into the battle by accident.
Lego Island Track
Racetrack
LEGO Island
New Stage
Lego on acid. A stage travels along the racecourse, and fighters have to avoid large pizzas that can roll through the battle, or stomped on by large LEGO skeletons.

A small bar and restaurant located in Renfrew, Ontario. The fight takes place in the alleyway-like patio that takes the title of the city's best patio. Sometimes, waiters and waitresses will come out of the doors while carrying food. Attacking them will have them flee and drop the food, which could restore health. Onnanoko
Onnanoko
Wrecking Crew
Another strange opponent from Wrecking Crew '98 is Onnanoko. She's just a simple little girl in the game, with nothing really making her stand out aside from how odd it is to see her. Onnanoko represents Wrecking Crew '98, utilizing the hammers, bombs and panels from the game in her moveset. She is also able to call upon Oyaji, a depressed man, and Dogu, an animated clay figure, to assist her, as the three of them, alongside Onigiri, were hidden opponents, and obscure ones at that, in Wrecking Crew '98.

New Character
Reese is the main protagonist of Exo's Fantendo Visual Novel With No Name. "It's ambiguous as shit as what reese actually is", though Reese has really only been shown playing Pong against Leah Needlenam. So, that's pretty much what it uses to attack. Pong and other rad ass attacks.

The creator of the Kirby and Super Smash Bros. series, and the creative mind behind the Kid Icarus reboot, Sakurai himself joins the battle. He uses many attacks that originate from Kid Icarus: Uprising and Kirby, including Palutena's Bow, Dedede's Hammer or the Subspace Army troops. He is a powerful fighter, though is prone to random tripping when attempting to sprint and has calcific tendonitis in his right shoulder, causing him to gain more damage and have slower attacks as the fight progresses.
Xiame
Xiame
Adventures of White
New Character
Xiame is a technomancer Popopo and a member of the Dark Matter Resistance. Because Adventures of White is like the second most confusing fanon series and I have no idea half the lore around the characters. She lives in Ashview Plaza (wherever that is) and her unique weapon is the Techno Wings. She's also Palkia as a Popopo.
Santa and Topper
Kris Kringle
Rankin/Bass Christmas Specials
New Character
Kris Kringle is the younger version of Santa Claus, a red-headed juvenile who gives toys (which have been outlawed by Burgermeister Meisterburger) to the young children of Sombertown. They work together to fight, though only one runs around, with the others joining when attacking. Their game is only available through Club Nintendo Japan.
Steely McBeam
Steely McBeam

New Character
While most sports mascots are large, happy animals or... alien-like creatures (*cough*Big Red*cough*), the Pittsburgh Steelers decided to go with a mascot people can relate to more. Meet Steely McBeam! He's a large dude who's kind of like Tonka Joe. He attacks with steel beams that he slashes with at ease.
Phillie Phanatic
Phillie Phanatic
Philadelphia Phillies
New Character
The Philadelphia Phillies are certainly.... creative. They created the Phillie Phanatic; who's just a huge "What The Fuck!?". No one really knows what the Phanatic's deal is, and he attacks with baseballs and... a ray gun? Maybe this thing is of extraterrestrial origins.
Miami Heat Burnie
Burnie
Miami Heat
New Character
At first glance, Burnie's a furry orange thing with a lame name. Look at the Miami Heat logo, and you'd quickly figure it out. Burnie's an anthropomorphic fireball (the name Burnie's fitting now, huh?). He attacks with flaming basketballs and lava plumes. Burnie's had an interesting history, as he was sued and almost had to spend 20 years in jail for dancing with the wife of a federal judge during a basketball game.
Aussie Kangaroo
Aussie Kangaroo
Aussie

The Aussie Kangaroo is the mascot of the Aussie brand of shampoo, and she appeared in commercials for the shampoo for years. Chef Mario Yoshi
Chef Mario & Yoshi
Yoshi's Cookie
The ever-famous plumber, Mario, and his green dinosaur buddy Yoshi. The two are staples in fighting games, whether they be Smash Brothers or Fighters of Lapis, they seem to be drawn towards brawls. Chef Mario attacks with various cooking utensils and his cookie shurikens, while Yoshi grants him quick transportation and a flutterkick recovery.
Stanford Tree
Stanford Tree
Stanford Cardinals
The unofficial mascot of some college football team called the Cardinals or something is some tree called the Stanford Tree. Obviously, an anthropomorphic cardinal was too mainstream for them. And before you ask, no, the mascot can not do any of these things in real life.

Like Mario and Yoshi, Peach is often drawn into battling other all-stars. While in most of her appearances, she is a slow character who relies on weaker attacks, like using Toad as a counter or throwing turnips at enemies, in this battle, she actually utilizes a giant Nintendo 64 controller as a spaceship, which she pilots. The controller, which hovers on the ground is able to fire lasers from it's cannons or lay down mines from behind. Peach can also eject from the controller, in which she utilizes her pink parasol as a sword. While significantly weaker than when in her ship, she is less likely to be a target due to being smaller.

He can also throw exploding gumballs at opponents, or call upon his friend, PJ Phil (Phil Guerrero) to help him in battle.

JHe can also get assistance from his sidekick, Mo Crash.
Topham Hatt
Sir Topham Hatt
Thomas and Friends
Sir Tophamm Hatt is the train conductor for the railroad that Thomas and his friends are a part of. While he appears in his "pre-CGI" form, and seems somewhat out of place in the game, Hatt is actually far from it. He can attack with top hat shurikens and exploding top hats. He can also call upon one of the tank engines to ram enemies out of the way.
Jimmie Johnson
Jimmie Johnson
Anything With an Engine
Jimmie Johnson is some guy who races in Nascar. Aside from that, he doesn't really have much to make him stand out...... You know, other than some really bad video game (published by Konami, no less) called Jimmie Johnson's Anything With an Engine. His attacks are based on the title of that game, and, as such, is very projectile-based; firing rocket toasters and rocket barstools at opponents, and being aided by rocket powered skateboards for recovery.
Mod Souls
Mod-Souls

Noba, the tortoise-like creature?, can create wormholes that teleport others and is able to teleport himself around the stage. Finally, Ririn, the small bird, is able to create illusions of herself and other opponents in order to confuse her enemies. The three Mod-Souls can be switched out using the down special; which is the only move that Kurōdo is unable to mimic.

Number 4 and Bob
Bob the Killer Goldfish
Earthworm Jim
Bob the Killer Goldfish is, as his name implies, an evil goldfish bent on conquering the universe. While he is utterly useless by himself, his giant, feline minion, Number 4, fights for and protects him in the battle. The player controls Number 4 most of the time, though the large feline is unable to recover, instead throwing his Goldfish boss to safety, where he simply watches those around him with fear. Number 4 attacks with rapid shoulder charges, kicks and spinning punches. He can also throw Bob's goldfish ball as a projectile, or roll it like a bowling ball to do massive damage.

Dogwelder
DC Comics
A lot of superheroes are utterly useless. Tag, for example, can make people flock to, or stay away from other people. Squirrel Girl can talk to squirrels and eat bark. Arm-Fall-Off-Boy can..... rip his arms off. None of them are more useless than the Dogwelder, who welds deceased dogs to supervillains' bodies. While he may seem like a joke character, his blowtorch does massive damage, and his deceased dogs can still chomp down hard on opponents.

Trivia

  • The Danganronpa series is given three representatives in Ryoko, Mukuro and Junko. Incidentally, one could say that Junko is, in actuality, all three representatives of the series as:
    • Junko, upon experimenting on a memory loss formula, erased her memory, causing her to become Ryoko. She only regains her memory when her love interest, Yasuke Matsuda, pretends to be Izuru Kamukura, before being killed by her.
    • Mukuro is Junko's twin sister. While they share this connection alone, Mukuro also portrays Junko during the School Life of Mutual Killing, deceiving the students into thinking that she is the Ultimate Fashionista.
