Story Mode: A Cosmic Rift In Time
Duke it out as any character you've unlocked on any stage you've unlocked. This is the mode you'll spend most time in.
Haha no. Don't worry. It's not a generic mode where you fight clones. Pretty much the opposite, really. You have several clones of you spread throughout the stage. They mimic your actions, allowing for impressive combos and the ability to take out multiple opponents at once. Single player only.
Taking the concept from an abandoned project, this fighter game allows you to switch between dimensions while fighting. 2D fighting is fast-paced and plays a lot like Super Smash Bros., while 3D fighting is more technical and slower, playing closest to Kid Icarus: Uprising. Each character has five moves to use in battle, as well as a few melee attacks.

|Pffffft, who needs Mario!? Paper Mario for the win. The RPGs were amazing, much better than the 2D Mario platformers. Super Paper Mario was amazing... Enough of that. Paper Mario is a slow character, but powerful. He uses his hammer as his melee weapon, but can make use of his partners and stickers too. This paper-thin hero also utilizes abilities such as flipping dimensions automatically and becoming a paper plane or tube.||Neutral: Bombette
Final Smash: Sticker Comet
My Little Pony
|Who's the best pony ever? No, not Rainbow Dash. Not Applejack either. You're all wrong, except for you in the back. Pinkie Pie is here to brighten up your day! ...Kinda. This is a fighting game after all. Pinkie has a Party Cannon that blasts high powered confetti. She also has giant wheels of cheese, bubbles, balloons and a toothless alligator at her disposal. So much more than that, too! She can summon clones, defy physics, break the fourth wall and use the Element of Laughter. Who's your favourite pony now? Still Celestia? You suck.||Neutral: Twilight Lasers
Side: Cake Assault
Up: Mirror Pool Banish
Down: Pinkie Sense
Final Smash: Super Duper Party Pony
|THE SNOW GLOWS WHITE ON THE MOUNTAIN TONIGHT, NOT A FOOTPRINT TO BE SEEN. A KINGDOM OF ISOLATION AND IT LOOKS LIKE I'M THE QUEEN. THE WIND IS HOWLING LIKE THIS SWIRLING STORM INSIDE. COULDN'T KEEP IT IN, HEAVEN KNOWS I TRIED. DON'T LET THEM IN, DON'T LET THEM SEE, BE THE GOOD GIRL YOU ALWAYS HAD TO BE. CONCEAL DON'T FEEL, DON'T LET THEN KNOW... WELL NOW THEY KNOW! LET IT GO, LET IT-
Elsa is a slow character focusing on ranged attacks. All of these have icy effects, almost always bound to freeze you. She can shoot blasts of cold wind, summon flurries of frost, throw snowy shurikens, create miniature versions of Marshmallow and protect herself with a wall of ice. At close range Elsa can use swords constructed purely out of ice. Despite all this, Elsa's main method of attacking is singing Let it Go. If you time it right, you can emit icy soundwaves. If Elsa finishes singing her song, all her attacks are boosted and she summons her icy palace. She is the first character to have a unique gimmick.
|Neutral: Do You Wanna Build A Snowman?
Up: Ice Staircase
Down: LET IT GO
Final Smash: Frozen Heart
Inklings are the main characters in Splatoon, they are a race of squids who can become humanoids. They take part in turf wars involving paint, when they're not busy fighting octopuses. Inkling is quick on her feet and can splatter the stage in paint, allowing her to become a squid and swim through the ink. Inklings come equipped with all kinds of paint-based weapons to attack foes with, and help cover the stage.
Side: Paint Roller
Up: Ink Blasters
Final Smash: Super Splatter Bomb
Battle Diva and Pajama Girl
Wizards of Waverly Place
|Battle Diva, rise to the stars where you belong! Harper Finkle is ready to battle in her enchanted Battle Diva costume, accompanied by her reluctant partner Pajama Girl, Alex Russo. While Pajama Girl does nothing but put foes to sleep and hit them with pillows, Battle Diva has plenty of powers! She can fly, shoot lasers, spray people with cheese, ricochet lasers, deflect bullets, breathe fire and make you say things twice! She can fly, shoot lasers, spray people with cheese, ricochet lasers, deflect bullets, breathe fire and make you say things twice! I never understood that power. I never understood that power.||Neutral: Cheese Spray
Side: Fire Breath
Up: Battle Diva, Rise To The Stars Where You Belong!
Final Smash: Repeat, Repeat
Wii Fit Trainer
|Wii Fit Trainer is the trainer from Wii Fit, if you couldn't tell already. She is a pretty balanced character, with great jump. An array of fitness equipment is at her disposal, like soccer balls, hula hoops, yoga mats and weights. She also has a unique heart rate mechanic, shown beside her health. The more movement Wii Fit Trainer does, the faster her heart rate is. With a high heart rate Wii Fit Trainer can land powerful blows and run significantly faster. Her heart rate mechanic makes her hard for beginners, but experts can master her.||TBA|
|You knew she was trouble when she was announced. Taylor is a very *ahem* Swift character who lacks in jump. She uses various attacks based on her songs. She can hit you with golf clubs, blow you to places you've never been, summon people in animal onesies, create rips in the very fabric of reality (or as she calls them, blank spaces) and counter attacks and heal at the same time by shaking it off.||TBA|
|Expression||The Expression is a customizable character created by the player. The player can choose a variety of features, such as their hair, eyes, skin colour, build, outfit and overall playstyle. There are plenty of options to choose from, keeping the most picky players happy. As you progress in the game, you may come across new outfits or weapons which can then be given to your Expression.||See here|
|Pluto Junior is the adventurous son of Pluto. No, not the Roman god of the Underworld. He tends to attack anything that annoys him or grabs his curiosity, but is scared very easily. His main methods of attacking are with a bouncy ball (does recoil), a balloon, a bug, a bird and a sock hanging from a clothesline.
He is unlocked by using a Time Rift with Ionsaí Scáth
|Neutral: Bouncy Ball
Side: Balloon Beat-Up
Final Smash: Father & Son
|It's Uniqua, the star of a kid's TV show by Nickelodeon! Being from a kiddy show, she doesn't fight too much. Instead, she can 'pretend'. She isn't actually pretending, though. She can shoot guns as a cowgirl, avoid attacks and scare foes as a ghost, capture them as a monster hunter and more.
She is unlocked by using a Time Rift with Ionsaí Scáth
Down: Monster Hunter
